Our Fall Choir Concert Was a Hit!

The Ardmore Elementary Choir had their Fall concert on Wednesday, November 6th. The show featured a capella singing on an English round called, conveniently, “Round and Round the Earth is Turning” and a version of the African-American spiritual “Yonder Come Day/Walk That Road.” They also sang a newer song called “The Moon” by Andy Beck which had them singing in unison, by echo and in harmony. The show closed with a version of the jazz standard “Jeepers Creepers” featuring some swell scat singing. The students did an amazing job learning these songs, memorizing all the lyrics and performing under pressure. Well done everyone!!!
