Our Kindergarten students have been busy learning about animals during their zoology unit. Our reading & writing curriculum is designed around engaging units of study, zoology being one of them. For the current Kindergarten unit, our learners learned about animals while learning how to read & write. These engaging units make learning come alive. Yesterday, learning truly came alive with a live reptile demonstration. Kindergarten students got to learn about reptiles through an immersive, hands-on experience. Following this experience, our Kindergarten students had the opportunity to extend their learning through reading & writing back in the classroom. Our young zoologists will continue to learn about animals throughout this month.
