Friday afternoon, our kindergarteners brought the magic of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade right into our school! After reading Balloons Over Broadway by Melissa Sweet—the inspiring story behind the famous parade—the students designed and created their very own floats.
With proud smiles and plenty of excitement, a couple of our kindergarten classes paraded through the building, just like the real Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Students and staff cheered them on as their colorful, creative floats floated by.
It was a joyful celebration of imagination, creativity, and Thanksgiving spirit.
