On April 16, Ardmore Elementary welcomed families from Ardmore and Westmore for a Multilingual Game Night.
The Ardmore gym came alive with joy and laughter as families enjoyed snacks and dove into games like Uno, Lotería, Mancala, Jenga, and Hedbanz, as well as floor puzzles and coloring activities.
As the night unfolded, families bonded over friendly competition, learned new games from one another, and celebrated the many languages and cultures within their community.
What a special night! Thank you to English Language Resource Teacher at Ardmore, Mia Bohlin, and English Language Teacher at Westmore, Katherine Portilla for organizing a wonderful family event. Additionally, thank you to the D45 Multilingual Department and Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee for supporting the event.
