Ardmore Choir is Working Hard to Prepare for May 2nd Concert

For 4th and 5th grade students, 2nd semester choir will begin on February 6th and go until our concert in mid-May. Any 4th or 5th graders who want to join for this semester are welcome! If your child is interested, let Mr. Hammond know and he will send home a permission/informational form to be signed. The 4th and 5th grade students who were in choir last semester do not need to have this form resigned.

Choir is a great way to meet new kids and a chance to sing more difficult and interesting music. It requires some out-of-school practice on their own via playlists that I put together, but it’s just practicing singing which is fun anyway! It doesn’t cost anything but some of their time. Our concert in May will be in the gym in the evening and will consist of a variety of songs in different languages and styles. It’s super fun and I hope we can get some new 4th graders and 5th graders to try it!!!

Choir meets weekly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7:30-8:00am in the music room. Choir drop off is from 7:25-7:30 at the front doors of the school. The group heads down together to the music room at 7:30 sharp.

The Spring Choir concert will be held the evening of Thursday, May 2nd.

If you have any questions, please email Mr. Hammond at [email protected].
