We are so proud of 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Kristi Isaacson, for being granted funds from the School District 45 Foundation for Excellence in Education for in-class STEAM opportunities. Through this grant students in her class will engage in a STEAM (Science and Social Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) project. After studying a social science topic in depth students will build and create a mini diorama to bring their research to life. As students work to build their diorama bases they will need to make sense of the directions, test out their ideas, build, confirm, and then glue once they are confident they have completed all steps correctly. Students will need to focus on details and be problem solvers. Congratulations, Mrs. Isaacson!
